GET KIDS GOING (GKG)

Having a restricted budget, this campaign was concentrated on one experiential event that was designed to mainly increase awareness about the charity but also to generate some revenue through donations. The event was planned to be set in the same place that the Red Bull Soap Box race is held in, which was not the only similarity the two events share. The idea behind the GKG event was to customise your own wheelchair and race it down as fast as possible, so like the Soap Box race but with wheelchairs instead. The event also featured various stands where merchandise and food could be bought, as well as a stage where GKG ambassadors and disabled athletes would hold talks throughout the day. The event was meant to be fun so that people would be able to see that being in a wheelchair can be fun too, since the aim of GKG is to provide disabled athletes the equipment they need so that they can go enjoy playing the sport they love.

Alongside the event, the GKG brand was refreshed with a new logo and website layout to lower the bounce rate and to make the brand seem more credible.
