It is hard to go out in public nowadays without seeing at least one person wearing Superstars. Some say that they're basic, boring, bland, etc. The aim was to try and find uniqueness in these shoes. I thought that maybe the focus shouldn't be on what makes the shoe unique, but who makes the shoes unique. So I came up with this little ad, making the consumer the hero rather than the product. Each shoe model is made hundreds or even thousands of times so it's hard to justify that a pair of shoes is unique. However you are only made once (unless you have a twin), so it made sense to shine the light on 'you' rather than the shoe.
